Dave Grohl is publishing his first book. While laid up in quarantine, Grohl started the davetruestories Instagram account, sharing stories and anecdotes like the one about David Bowie passing on collaborating with Grohl on a comic book movie soundtrack and telling him to fuck off. And now Dey Street Books, an imprint of the William Morrow Group at HarperCollins, have announced that they're collecting a whole bunch of Grohl's most memorable and compelling stories into The Storyteller: Tales Of Life And Music , a new book out in October. DAVE GROHL's 'The Storyteller' Book Due In October

Dey Street Books, an imprint of the William Morrow Group at HarperCollins, announced today that it will publish "The Storyteller" by Grammy-winning musician, documentary filmmaker, and fledgling author Dave Grohl. Dey Street VP and editorial director Carrie Thornton negotiated the deal with WME. Grohl is managed by Silva Artist Management. The book will go on sale October 5 and will also be published in U.K. and Commonwealth , Finland , Germany , Holland , and Italy .
